What We Believe
Family Service and BBQ On Sunday the 14th of April, to celebrate the end of a great first term of Kid's church, we will be holding a special Family Service and Church BBQ. We have had so many offers to bring food and help in other ways, the event totally taken care of, all you need to do is turn up and enjoy! The Service will start at the usual time of 9:45 and lunch will follow. All welcome!
Good Friday Service On Friday the 19th of April our Good Friday Service will commence at 9:00 am. It will run for a little less than 1 hour and we will think about the great sacrifice our Lord Jesus Christ made for us.
Easter Sunday (21st April) This Service will commence at our usual time of 9:45am. Easter Sunday is a time of great celebration and hope in our church. There will be an engaging kid's talk, we will look at the resurrection of Jesus as described in the gospel of Mark and the service will be followed with a delicious morning tea in the hall. If you have been to Manly Presbyterian Church many times, or never before, you are of course very welcome at this service (as you are at all our services!)
Anzac Service (28th April) This year we will be holding our Anzac Day service on the 28th of April. Prominent over the Eastern entry to St Andrews are two large honour boards, listing the names of those from our church who served our country in its time of need. As we do each year, we will hear the stories of some of those who are listed on the boards. As a Christian church we acknowledge that all sacrifice points to the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we will think more about this as we consider the final verses of Mark's Gospel. If you would like to see if members of your family are listed on our honour boards you are welcome to come and have a look any Sunday, or you are also welcome to make an appointment if you would like. The easiest way to do this is via the Contact Us section of this website.
T E S T I M O N I A L S
I've been coming to church here for the last 6 months. I love it because it looks like a castle and I get to ring the bell with my friends every week.
