At our Sunday Morning 9:45 am service we have a play area at the front for children to play during the church service. There are a takeaway packages for children to colour and do puzzles while in church. We welcome all children to our church service and prefer that parents do not take them out when a little bit unsettled, that is why we have our play area.

Before going out to their lessons, our young people meet with the rest of St. Andrew’s church family and, after an address structured for them, they go to Kids' Church classes in the hall. As well as this, they regularly play their part in contributing to worship. Also, once a year, we have a special service consisting of hymns only where Duncan gives mini-sermons as an introduction to each hymn and the entire congregation is invited and expected to leave the church service and visit our young ones in their classes.

​Kids Church has special classes for:

• Junior Kids Church 2-7 year olds

In this age group, children are taught basic Bible stories and Biblical truths. Through story, song and craft, children learn that they are made and loved by God and that Jesus came to save them. They learn about the way God worked His plan of salvation through many amazing people and events in the Bible. They are loved and nurtured and encouraged to have lots of fun and enjoy their special time together. 

• Senior Kids Church 8 -13 year olds

At this age, children are beginning to put together their own ideas about God and His word. They are exploring concepts, testing ideas and wondering how they relate to their everyday lives. Rather than being scared by this, at senior kids church we encourage this amazing time of wonder as preteens come to own their faith. We use creative storytelling methods to engage children and help them understand God's plan for their life. Expect Science experiments, art projects, journalling and lots of games!

These classes are run by experienced teachers. If you are new to church, please come out with your children for a couple of minutes so that we can learn a little about them and their needs. ​
